Filo & Feta Pasty Twirl

SO growing up my mum used to make these for me but her method was a lot more complicated, there was olive oil, sesame seeds and eggs.  Me being the time poor dad I had to make it simple. So this is my simple version.

Firstly, grab some filo pastry and some feta cheese.

Lay out a sheet of filo on the bench or chopping board. Add a strip of feta as per the image below.

As you can see I’ve added a little bit of olive oil but you don’t need to.  Roll the pastry up and simply twirl it to create a round shape.

Pop it into the air fryer for 7 minutes or a pre-heated oven on 170 for 14 minutes.  Then at the end we have this amazing little new addition to the School Lunch Box.
