Daffodil’s & Scrolls

Daffodil’s & Scrolls, I discovered these easy & fun snacks for our little ones. Using just one wrap and a muffin tray, simple ingredients and bang, I’ve done it again.

What you’ll need:

  • Wraps, I love the Wattle Valley range as the sizes are perfect plus they have Lite White and Wholegrain.
  • Ham
  • Cheese
  • Eggs

Tools:

  • Oven or Air Fryer
  • Muffin Tray
  • Plus the usual knife etc

As most of you know, I’m a dad so I’d rather let the photo’s show you how it’s done as I forget things, also, I’m one of those guys that doesn’t follow instructions, and then my wife reads the instructions and fixes it.

So here we go:

I use a pizza cutter to cut wings off the wrap.

Just make it look like the pic above.

Now do the same but the opposite way, Just look at the pic and copy.

I put the cheese on the bottom and then cracked an egg on top. So easy.

You guessed it, straight in the oven for about 15 min on 170. or an air fryer for half the time on 160.

How awesome hey? Now for the scroll, these are so easy.

Using the left over from the Daffodil creation just follow the steps…

Cutting the ham in half can be tricky. LOL, see how complicated this can get!

You got this…

Go you…

This can be tricky now, folding it over and you’ve become an origami expert.

Rolling it slowly ensures it stays nice and tight.

Look at that! you are killing it.

I used a toothpic to keep it together, this is not cheating, it’s just enhancing your culinary skills.

A few minutes in the air fryer or the oven and you have an awesome scroll.

Well done, I’m super proud of you.

  1. Hi George,
I don’t normally listen to Macedonian SBS news but today, for some reason that only God chanels, I was changing stations and heard the beautiful Macedonian announcers voice and listened for a while and then heard your interview in English with her and was so inspired by your selfless love, passion, ingenuity and determination to make this world a better place. My children are in the work force and youngest just sat his HSC so I have finished with school lunches but current and future parents can benefit from your vision for a healthier and effortless lunchbox. I will promote your genius invention/passion to parents in Sydney and you should consider going on the TV show Shark Tank to go global and become another Jamie Oliver etc. You truly are following Gods will and your mission on Earth. God bless you and your family and thank God for all that he does for the ones that make this world a better place…and that’s YOU.
    With great admiration and gratitude,
    Mira

    1. Mira,

I’m humbled with your words and especially the time you took to msg me. I am a simple dad that’s madly in love with my family, so doing what I do comes easily. Now, it’s a mission of mine to spread the love of simplistic nutritional creative lunches. Doing everything I can to get out there and inspire. Once again, thank you!

      George
